Alan has practiced law in Columbus, Indiana for more than 30 years. Alan began his legal career in the Bartholomew County Prosecutors Office in 1980, where he served as a deputy prosecutor until 1995. In 2013, Alan formed Whitted Law, LLC.
with his son, Alex R. Whitted. He earned his bachelor of science degree in political science, with a minor in business, from Ball State University in 1977 and his juris doctorate from the Ohio Northern University, Claude W. Pettit College of Law in 1980.
